Job Summary

The Outdoor Dust Collector Operator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and operating industrial dust collection systems used in a manufacturing facility. This role helps ensure a safe, clean, and efficient production environment by preventing dust buildup and maintaining proper airflow and filtration performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor outdoor dust collection equipment and filtration systems.
• Inspect dust collectors, ductwork, filters, fans, and hoppers for proper operation.
• Empty collection bins, drums, or hoppers as required.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on dust collection systems.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow safety procedures related to combustible dust, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements.
• Monitor gauges, airflow readings, and pressure differentials.
• Maintain housekeeping standards around outdoor equipment areas.
• Assist maintenance and production teams as needed.
• Complete inspection logs and maintenance records accurately.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Understanding of industrial safety practices preferred.

Currently looking for a Night shift Dusk Collector for a Manufacturing Company.

Experience with Sit-down Forklift

Pay $19

Shift: 7pm- 5:30am- Mon- Thurs with OT on Fridays but schedule will adjust to 7am-7pm M-F
