Position Overview – Mobile Diesel Mechanic

We are actively seeking (4) skilled and motivated Mobile Diesel Mechanics to join our team. This role is critical to keeping our fleet of yard trucks and terminal tractors operating safely, efficiently, and without downtime.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on in-service yard trucks and terminal tractors
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the field
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and safety concerns
• Complete preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Respond to service calls and breakdowns with urgency and professionalism
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs clearly
• Ensure all work is completed safely and meets company and DOT standards

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
• Ability to work independently in a mobile/field environment
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is required)
• Prior experience with yard trucks/terminal tractors is a plus
