Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position supporting a school-based program in the Lackawanna County and Dunmore area. This role begins as maternity leave coverage and transitions into itinerant student support in the spring.

Position Overview:

• Start date: ASAP
• End date: August 7, 2026
• Schedule: 35 hours per week (part-time candidates may be considered)
• Assignment: Maternity leave coverage transitioning to itinerant services in spring
• Service area: Lackawanna County and Dunmore, PA region
• Onsite only (virtual not accepted)
• School district details will be disclosed upon candidate qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
• Support caseloads across multiple school sites
• Conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Must be eligible to obtain/complete PA clearances
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• School-based experience required

Experience & Education:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Prior school-based experience required

Work Hours:

• 35 hours per week (flexible for part-time candidates if needed)

Employment Type:

• Contract - W2

Compensation:

• $47–54/hour DOE (average ~$50/hour, depending on years of experience)
