Pittsburgh area company in need of a Human Resources Generalist. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing various HR functions to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace.

Responsibilities:

· Bi-Weekly payroll processing and production of reports (time off, overtime, etc.)

· Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries.

· Leaves of absence administration and tracking.

· Ensure compliance with Employee Handbook.

· Manage recruitment and oversee employee onboarding/offboarding processes

· Collaborate with managers on employee performance reviews and PIPs.

· Ensure compliance with Federal regulations.

· Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

· Overall compensation review, benchmarking, and analysis.

· Manage annual benefits, workers comp and retirement planning process.

· Administer safety training and set up safety incentive program.

· Review, update, and create policies in cooperation with the legal team.

· Manage random drug testing program.

· Assist with additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

· 5+ years of progressive HR experience

· Proven experience in payroll, benefits administration, and HR functions.

· Strong understanding of employee relations.

· Experience with employee onboarding/offboarding, performance evaluation processes.

· Familiar with DOT compliance.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Effective communication and people skills.

· Proficient MSOffice and HR software skills (ADP Workforce Now preferred)

· Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management

· Professional verbal and written communication skills

· Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

· Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
