The University of Scranton has an exciting opportunity to join our team of accomplished,passionate educators and clinicians in the Department of Nursing. This is a tenure-track in-person, on site 9-month, assistant professorposition beginning in August 2026. Regular on-campus presence is required. There are opportunities to teach in the undergraduate, graduate,and DNP programs; teaching, scholarship, and service are required. The Department of Nursing is strongly committed to excellence; theDepartment's graduates are recognized for being ready to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, holistic, person-centered care at all levelsand across many settings.

Additional Skills Required:
Expertise inwomens health nursing is required.
Pennsylvania nursing licensure, or eligibility for Pennsylvania nursinglicensure.
Candidates should demonstrate evidence of, or potential for excellence in classroom and clinical teaching, scholarly work,and engagement in professional service.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Masters degree in Nursing. Anearned doctoral-level research degree (PhD or EdD), or current enrollment in a PhD or EdD program.
PreferredEducation:
Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
Relevant clinical experience in womens health isrequired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as an advanced practice nurse in womens health ispreferred.
