CDL Truck Driver Recent Grads Are Welcome

18 Wheels USA is seeking full-time W2 Class A CDL drivers, including candidates with limited or no professional driving experience through a paid Class A training program. Positions are available across OTR, regional, and dedicated fleets, primarily east of I-35. Training program (for candidates with limited or no experience)

• Paid three to fiveweek training for recent CDL school graduates who meet the minimum instruction requirement (at least 120 hours).
• Training includes safe tractortrailer operation, compliant ELD use, trip reporting, pretrip/posttrip inspections, and company procedures.
• Progress is assessed through supervised driving and competency evaluations prior to solo assignments.

Typical duties

• Safely operate a Class A tractortrailer in accordance with DOT and company regulations.
• Haul primarily notouch dry van freight (approximately 70% dropandhook) for customers across the Eastern U.S.
• Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain ontime performance.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Perform daily pretrip and posttrip inspections and report equipment issues promptly.

Minimum qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL, or recent CDL school graduate who has completed at least 120 hours of instruction and is eligible for company training.
• Satisfactory driving record demonstrating a commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and preemployment drug screen.
