Job Summary Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse populations. The Department of Biology invites applications for one quarter-time temporary faculty position to teach a lab in a core class in botany for Fall and Spring in the 2026-27 academic year. Preference will be given to applicants whose area of teaching expertise fits the needs of the department. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly/professional growth; and service. Successful interview and demonstration of relevant teaching ability required. Salary competitive. Minimum Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Biology or related field and one year of college-level teaching experience or equivalent is required. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. is highly preferred.
