Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, the AVPDOS serves as a senior leader within the Division of Student Affairs and plays a vital role in the University's broader leadership structure. As a key member of the division's executive team, the AVPDOS collaborates closely with student affairs directors and institutional partners to advance student connection, belonging, and engagement, while continuously refining the overall student experience.

Serving as the second-in-command within the division, the AVPDOS provides leadership and administrative oversight for Student Conduct, Student Engagement, Student Experience, Residence Life and Housing, Student Connection and Belonging, and the University Union. The AVPDOS leads efforts to enhance student engagement and retention, foster a sense of belonging, and ensure alignment with best practices in student affairs while cultivating a supportive and inclusive campus environment. Qualifications

Master's degree in student affairs and higher education, college student personnel, or a related field. 10 years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience. Preferred: Doctoral degree in higher education administration or a related field.
