As Senior Director, HR Business Partner, you will be a strategic leader and trusted advisor to senior leadership. Supporting Ryder’s Automotive & Industrial (AAI) vertical within the Supply Chain division. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will lead both the HR Business Partner team and on-site HR professionals, driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning. This is high-impact role requires a forward-thinking leader who anticipates challenges, guides transformation, and ensures our people strategy accelerates business success. Responsibilities- Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with supply chain business objectives, serving as a trusted advisor and champion of best-in-class HR practices.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of HR Business Partners, fostering a culture of strategic impact, accountability, and continuous growth.
- Anticipate workforce challenges and guide leaders through complex organizational change with empathy and strategic foresight.
- Collaborate with the broader HRBP leadership team to modernize the HR Business Partner function, enhancing scalability, effectiveness, and business impact.
- Use people analytics to inform talent strategy, optimize workforce planning, and drive measurable outcomes.
- Shape organizational structures and leadership pipelines, influencing how we attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Partner cross-functionally with COEs (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Management, Legal) to deliver integrated HR programs that support business goals.
- 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, including senior leadership roles supporting executive teams.
- Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, public companies, or high-growth environments is preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to influence and coach senior executives, driving strategic people decisions at scale.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing HR teams.
- Strong business acumen with deep understanding of industry dynamics and organizational strategy.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive change in dynamic environments.
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable impact.
