Hardscape (construction) Crew Lead (1-2 years experience preferred)

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in doing to join our company as a landscape/construction lead.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in various areas of construction. Equipment operation and excavation would also be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crew members as a working construction leader during all phases of a project.

Ensure your crew meets daily, weekly, and quarterly performance and quality goals.

Understand and meet production rates to meet schedules and budget requirements while maintaining quality finished product.

An ability to assess situations then effectively and efficiently provide solutions to problems as they arise.

Responsible for completing and maintaining all paperwork and photo documentation throughout each project.

Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures including conducting daily safety huddles on site.

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1-2 years of construction experience

Current driver's license (Must have possessed for a minimum of 3 years)

Currently hold or be able to obtain DOT Physical Card

Clean driving record

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Effective time management skills

Basic math skills

Be able to work well with others

Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills

Understand and follow oral and written instructions

Must be a team player - ability to see big picture - coordinate your day to get work done correctly and efficiently and be able to help elsewhere if needed

Preferences:

CDL

Proficiency in various construction aspects such as reading blueprints & schematics, site layout, site work, excavation, reading grade, equipment operation

Construction or safety certifications you may possess
