About Us: A leading regional commercial roofing company with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team.
Position Summary: The Estimator will play a crucial role in our company's success by accurately estimating the cost of commercial roofing projects. This position requires a strong understanding of roofing materials, construction techniques, and project management principles.
Responsibilities:
- Project Evaluation: Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to determine scope of work and material requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Bid Preparation: Assemble comprehensive bid packages, including cost estimates, project schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Client Presentations: Present bid proposals to clients, explaining the scope of work, cost estimates, and project timeline.
- Contract Negotiation: Participate in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Project Management Support: Provide support to project managers during the construction phase, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the commercial roofing industry.
- Strong understanding of roofing materials, construction techniques, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
