LINE COOK POSITION - MORNING & EVENING SHIFTS - TOLL MAN JOE’S
Toll Man Joe’s, originally founded in Philadelphia in 2016, is finally returning to the city! After years of searching, we found our new dream home at 12th & Pine in Washington Square West.
We’re returning as a full-service restaurant and bar featuring our award-winning wings alongside refined breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus that blend Philadelphia comfort-food favorites with globally inspired flavors. Behind the bar, guests can expect an expansive & exciting cocktail program, local beers, and thoughtfully selected wines.
Toll Man Joe’s aspires to once again provide a comfortable space for the community to come together, enjoy great food and drinks, and watch sports! This location also provides the perfect opportunity to host special events, occasional live music, and private events as well.
Our anticipated Grand Opening is the first week of September 2026, just in time for football season!
Responsibilities:- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, presentation, and quality standards
- Set up and properly stock your station before service
- Work efficiently and accurately during high-volume service
- Maintain consistency in portioning, preparation, and presentation
- Communicate and coordinate with fellow line cooks, expo, and kitchen leadership
- Monitor product levels and communicate prep and restocking needs
- Properly label, date, rotate, and store food
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Diligently follow all food safety and proper food-handling procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, prep, and cleaning duties as needed
- Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred
- Morning and/or evening availability
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Ability to stay organized and composed during busy service
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Ability to follow recipes and direction
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
