Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A critical leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations in Kennett Square, PA. This role is a 13-week contract to hire position ideal for a dedicated professional with strong regulatory expertise and leadership skills in pharmacy management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
• Act as the primary liaison for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies facilitating inspections and audits.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational changes, ownership transitions, facility modifications, or PIC transitions.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, maintaining quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, pharmacy technicians, and production staff in daily operations.
• Manage batch record creation, execution, review, and approval to support compliant production processes.
• Collaborate on production scheduling to guarantee on-time delivery, accurate inventory, and proper capacity planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current PA Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
• Extensive knowledge of USP standards and applicable state and federal regulations related to 503A compounding operations.
• Proven experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Flexible availability on Saturdays, if needed
