Role Description

This is a full-time, in-person Paralegal position based in our Philadelphia, PA office. The role supports a fast-paced Plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation practice and involves close daily collaboration with an experienced trial attorney in a one-on-one working relationship.

The position includes managing a full personal injury litigation caseload from intake through trial. Responsibilities include managing active litigation files, coordinating discovery, organizing and summarizing medical and litigation records, drafting pleadings and correspondence, assisting with trial preparation and communicating with clients, experts and Pennsylvania courts. Additional responsibilities include case calendaring, filing pleadings, coordinating service, answering and serving discovery, managing records and litigation deadlines, scheduling matters and handling daily mail and email review and phone calls. xrczosw

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification
• Prior experience in a Plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm setting
• Experience managing a personal injury litigation caseload independently
• Experience with case calendaring, filing pleadings, coordinating service, answering and serving discovery, managing records and litigation deadlines and trial preparation
• Ability to manage multiple active matters in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly and team oriented
• Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in-person, Monday to Friday
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
