Senior Personal Banker

Our Senior Personal Bankers provide a full range of banking services to individual customers, with emphasis on personal financial counseling, lending, and customer service. They are active members of the branch office sales/service team and provide support related to the day-to-day branch operational activities and financial services of the Bank. Senior Personal Bankers may serve in a leadership capacity with direct reports.
Essential Duties:
- Maintains Bank products and services understanding.
- Maintains thorough understanding on transactional activities required of the position such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, payments, money orders, cashier's checks, cash advances and maintaining currency and coin.
- Meets with customers to discuss personal financial needs and recommends ways in which the company can serve their needs.
- Assists customers with product selections for accounts and financial services throughout the Bank including Wealth Management, Cash Management Services, and Merchant Services cross-selling.
- Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and provides oversight to work flow.
- Orders all currency and coin for the office; prepares all outgoing branch cash shipments; verifies incoming branch cash shipments.
- Ensures the vault cash is balanced each day for the office.
- Ensures proper operational functioning and cash replenishment of branch ATM machine(s) and ATM related duties.
- Ensures proper completion of the daily retrieval and processing of night depository bags.
- Supervises, coaches, and trains Personal Bankers.
- Assists in the Talent Acquisition process as appropriate.
- Responsible to assist in onboarding all new team members.
- Consistently reviews employee performance and provides regular feedback.

Requirements:Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Training in customer service, telephone etiquette, leadership and sales needed.
Skill(s): Must demonstrate strong communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) preferred; excellent interpersonal relations skills; proficient PC skills; a comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in opening new accounts; a proficient knowledge of the banking systems, transaction documents, knowledge of vault transactions and balancing; a working knowledge of bank consumer and business products and services; proficient Microsoft Office skills; possess problem solving skills
Experience: A minimum of (2-4) years' experience in a related position normally required.
