Position Summary

As a Peeler Operator , you’ll play a vital role in our potato processing operations. You’ll monitor, operate, and adjust equipment to wash and peel potatoes, ensuring the best product quality for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• 🧹 Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work area every day and during downtime.
• 💻 Data Entry: Accurately input data into the Infinity database system.
• 🥔 Process Monitoring: Check and adjust potato levels in holding hoppers.
• ⚙️ Equipment Oversight: Monitor and optimize equipment performance in the peeler area.
• 🚜 Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely, following company policies.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Ability to obtain McCain Forklift Certification
• Willingness to learn touch-screen computer systems and Infinity Database software
• Basic language and math skills

Physical Requirements

• Constant: Stand, walk, reach with hands and arms
• Frequent: Use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear; regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Occasional: Sit, climb, balance, taste, or smell
