We are hiring a full-time Diesel and Small Engine Mechanic for our farm equipment and lawn mower sales and service shop. This is an on-site role for an experienced mechanic who can diagnose problems, complete repairs efficiently, and help keep equipment service-ready for customers. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced shop environment.

What You will do:

• Diagnose, service, and repair diesel and small engine equipment, including farm equipment and lawn mowers.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and engine overhauls. Includes farm tractor power shift transmission & hydraulic diagnostics/repair.
• Use diagnostic tools and computer-assisted technology to identify mechanical issues.
• Complete repairs accurately and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with equipment pickup and delivery as needed.
• Support team productivity and help oversee shop work when appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience repairing diesel engines and/or small engines.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and computer-assisted systems.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and maintain a safe work area.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have your own tools.
• Pass drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of mechanic experience required.
• 2+ years of experience overseeing or guiding other staff preferred.
• Experience with farm equipment and lawn mower repair preferred.

Schedule and Benefits

Job type: Full-time. Schedule: Monday through Saturday. Benefits include health insurance, deferred compensation, and paid vacation.
