Travel Physical Therapy Assistant Job

TLC Healthforce
Jersey Shore, PA
Step into a deeply rewarding role as a Physical Therapy Assistant, specializing in restoring movement, independence, and confidence for patients across Pennsylvania’s Jersey Shore region. Beginning February 24, 2026, you’ll join a collaborative rehabilitation team on a multi-week assignment designed to showcase your hands-on expertise, clinical judgment, and dedication to patient-centered care. You’ll help patients regain strength, balance, and function through individualized treatment plans, harnessing evidence-based techniques to maximize outcomes. This is more than a job—it's a chance to shape people’s daily lives, helping them walk taller, move more freely, and return to the activities they love. And as you serve in this picturesque corner of Pennsylvania, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore the wider U.S. healthcare landscape through additional assignments, expanding your professional horizon while staying rooted in a community you can call home. The Jersey Shore area boasts scenic parks, family-friendly neighborhoods, and a welcoming pace of life that wonderfully complements the fast pace of clinical care; from tranquil riverside trails to charming local eateries and cultural offerings, Pennsylvania’s varied landscapes provide a backdrop for both personal and professional growth.

Working in Jersey Shore, PA, you’ll experience location benefits that blend a high-quality lifestyle with meaningful clinical impact. Enjoy a supportive community atmosphere, access to outdoor recreation along nearby waterways, and proximity to larger urban centers for weekend excursions and continued learning. The opportunity to work in multiple locations across the United States expands your professional footprint while maintaining the stability of a guaranteed minimum schedule. You’ll also benefit from robust professional networks, mentorship from seasoned PTs and assistants, and access to modern therapeutic equipment and facilities that foster exceptional patient outcomes. The region’s blend of rural charm and accessible amenities makes it an ideal environment to focus on patient relationships, reflect on clinical practice, and recharge with downtime that strengthens your overall well-being as a clinician.

In this role, your responsibilities will center on implementing and adapting physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of licensed therapists. You’ll assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, ROM activities, balance and proprioception work, and modalities designed to relieve pain and improve function. You’ll monitor patient progress, document responses to interventions, and communicate findings to the care team to support timely plan-of-care updates. You’ll also educate patients and families on home exercise programs, precautions, and strategies to maintain progress between sessions. The position offers substantial opportunities for professional growth within the Physical Therapy Assistant specialty, including expanding scope through specialty certifications, exposure to diverse patient populations, and pathways toward increased responsibility. We emphasize a collaborative environment where your clinical judgment is valued and your voice contributes to continuous improvement of patient care. In addition to knowledge expansion, the role includes competitive benefits such as a sign-on bonus, comprehensive housing assistance, and the potential for contract extensions, enabling you to deepen your practice in a trusted, consistent setting while exploring new locations as you choose. A key pillar of the experience is the 24/7 support framework available while traveling with the company, ensuring you have reliable clinical, administrative, and logistical assistance whenever you need it, so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Our company values your growth and your well-being. We are committed to empowering staff through structured career development, mentorship, and ongoing education that aligns with your evolving clinical interests. You’ll find a supportive, inclusive work environment that recognizes hard work, curiosity, and impact. Regular opportunities for feedback, recognition, and advancement are integrated into daily practice, with resources such as continued education allowances, skills workshops, and leadership development programs designed to help you progress from hands-on provider to trusted clinical leader. We believe that your professional fulfillment enhances patient outcomes, team cohesion, and the broader mission of delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to communities that need them most.

If you’re ready to join a company that values your expertise, respects your ambitions, and supports your professional journey, this is the place to be. Apply now to bring your commitment to patient empowerment to life in a setting that blends meaningful clinical work with a vibrant regional lifestyle. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that believes in ongoing learning, collaborative problem solving, and a culture that places people—patients and colleagues—at the heart of everything we do.
