Quality control technician
Overview:
Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to perform inspections and leak checks on our products in accordance with our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and leak inspections using CMM and other equipment.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Complete inspection documentation and maintain logs.
- Provide guidance to junior inspectors and assist in task assignments.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management on inspection priorities.
- Ensure adherence to safety and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
- 8–10 years of experience in mechanical inspection, manufacturing, or quality control.
- Proficient in CMM operations and programming.
- Skilled in vacuum leak detection, SPC inspections, GD&T, and various inspection stages.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with quality management systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Expert-level CMM knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
