Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Lead Machine Operator to join our team! You will operate a variety of machines and mechanical instruments to help facilitate the coating of liner for boxes. On-the-job training provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate coating machinery
- Produce materials to set customer specifications
- Ability to detect and remove defects during production run
- Collection of production run samples for laboratory testing
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Coordinate material movement throughout operation with other plant functions
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating printing and packaging/manufacturing related converting equipment
- Familiarity with PLC controls and automated manufacturing equipment
- Lift truck operating experience
- Problem-solving skills; attention to detail
- Ability to handle physical workload of 75 lbs
- Basic Computer Skills
- Familiarity with Food Safety, IFS, HACCP (preferred)
