Structural Engineer(Hybrid)

Job Details:

Position: Structural Engineer (EIT or PE)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days Remote / 2 Days Onsite)
Incentive: Up to 20% Annual Bonus

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to take ownership of design and analysis efforts for precast, post-tensioned concrete building systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical work with leadership responsibilities while contributing to process improvements and team development.

What You’ll Do:

• Take the lead on structural design and analysis for precast, post-tensioned concrete tank projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and internal standards
• Direct the development of production and erection drawings in coordination with drafting teams
• Manage several active projects, prioritizing deliverables and maintaining high-quality outcomes
• Generate conceptual and preliminary structural designs to support project development
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their technical growth
• Reinforce best practices and consistency in structural design across the department
• Partner with leadership to enhance design quality, efficiency, and internal workflows
• Coordinate with external partners on outsourced engineering and drafting work
• Perform site visits as needed to assess structures and recommend corrective solutions
• Prepare clear, concise technical reports and project documentation
• Provide ongoing updates and technical insights to engineering leadership
• Work toward obtaining and expanding Professional Engineer licensure in key regions

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain
• Experience reviewing and interpreting contract documents, particularly in environmental or tank-related projects
• Strong expertise in structural design of precast and post-tensioned concrete systems
• Understanding of construction and manufacturing processes for precast structures
• Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
