Requirements:

Prior baking and cooking experience is a must! Previous experience in a from scratch bakery or kitchen is preferred.

Willingness to learn and follow directions!

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Ability to delegate and direct a small staff while keeping a positive work environment is a must!

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Must be able to be on your feet for 8+ hours at a time.

Part-Time Prep Cook Requirements :

Kitchen experience preferred, but not required.

Must be able to be on your feet for 8+ hours at a time.

Locations :

Applicants for our full time position must be willing to work at two kitchen locations:

Deep Roots Cafe in West: Reading, PA

Deep Roots Valley Farm: Mohrsville, PA

Reliable transportation is required!

Starting pay for full time will be $17-20/hr based on experience. With the opportunity to make more as skills are demonstrated, and responsibilities are added!
