General Profile
- Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
- Solves complex problems

- Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment
- Prepares and implements quality assurance policies, procedures & review cycles
- Manages internal audit program; internal & customer required audit schedules, leads audits, and creates audit reports
- Evaluates audit findings and aids in the implementation of appropriate corrective actions
- Maintains and improves Quality Management System and generate reports as needed
- Creates, updates & leads Quality training as needed
- May administer the material review boards & database
- May also lead or support various projects as assigned Required Qualifications
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Quality or related degree preferred
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Batch Testing. Inspection. Nondestructive Testing. Product QA. Quality Assurance Process. Quality Improvement. Quality Inspection. Quality Management System (QMS). CMM programming. Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
- Certifications : AS9100
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
- May be requested to work a different shift.
- This position is Safety-Sensitive.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
