Position Summary
The Clinical Director of Operations is responsible for leading and developing high-quality clinical practices across school-based and adult habilitation programs. This leader will ensure excellence in behavior analytic service delivery, guide a team of BCBAs and direct care staff, and foster professional growth while advancing client outcomes. The position includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on staff development, clinical quality, and program innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
Direct and guide BCBAs, RBTs, and DSPs to maximize client progress.
Oversee client assessments, treatment planning, and program evaluation.
Ensure compliance with BACB ethics, HIPAA, and all applicable regulations.
Provide continuous documentation audits to maintain clinical quality.
Staff Development & Supervision
Provide regular consultation and mentoring for clinical staff.
Assign caseloads based on client needs and BCBA skillsets.
Collaborate with training leadership to ensure appropriate staff supervision and oversight.
Lead monthly clinical meetings, ground rounds, and roundtables.
Support professional growth through ongoing training, skill development, and performance feedback.
Program Oversight
Maintain high standards for treatment planning, progress reporting, and session documentation.
Monitor timelines and deliverables for all clinical programming.
Ensure fidelity in implementing ABA principles and individualized behavior change plans.
Collaborate with leadership to identify and address barriers to best practices.
Family & Community Engagement
Oversee parent training sessions to ensure families are actively involved in treatment.
Promote collaborative, compassionate, and individualized approaches across all services.
Professionalism & Organizational Culture
Model solution-focused leadership and maintain a positive, professional environment.
Promote agency values of compassion, individualization, and scientific integrity.
Encourage communication, accountability, and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (Doctoral preferred).
Active BCBA certification and license.
Minimum of 10 years of BCBA practice with leadership/administrative experience.
Expertise in developing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to mentor and supervise staff pursuing BCBA certification.
Compassionate, client-centered approach with commitment to positive outcomes.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $125,000 – $175,000 annually
5 weeks paid time off in the first year
