Position: Medical Administrative Office Support
Reports to: Butler Office Manager
Status: Part Time or Full-Time

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and rescheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and collect patient payments
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including data entry and updating medical records in EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems
- Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately and assist patients with inquiries
- Maintain organized filing systems for medical records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and support health information management initiatives
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, managing appointment flow, and handling clerical tasks such as data entry and typing with proficiency utilizing Microsoft and Google applications.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications and Competency Requirements:
- Possess state criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearances
- Have taken the mandated reporter training within the past 5 years
- Knowledge of computers and standard computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Possess the ability to learn new computer programs quickly and efficiently
- Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and quality of work
- Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous office experience is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient service and phone etiquette; ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy in documentation and billing processes
