Position Summary

In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for for assisting our Plant Controller in all areas of accounting including A/R, A/P, G/L, payroll, job costing, and month end close at our location in Fairview, PA. by entering data, creating reports, looking for entry errors and anomalies in data, and ensuring accuracy. As well as office administration responsibilities which may include clerical duties, filing, answering phone calls, purchasing office supplies and other duties as assigned by the Plant Controller.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform data entry during month end close process including A/R, A/P, job costing, Intercompany transactions. Prepare necessary journal entries.

· Match and input vendor and customer information into location accounting software

· Maintain accounting for fixed asset purchases and depreciation.

· Reconcile GL accounts to source documents.

· Maintain confidentiality and internal controls.

· Assist with vendor check preparation and EFT payments.

· Assist other off site and location employees.

· Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Plant Controller

Qualifications

· Associate degree in accounting/finance is required. Four-year degree preferred.

· Five (5) or more years relevant experience working in accounting/finance.

· ERP experience a plus

· Strong experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

· High degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

· A degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
