Part-time Program Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Program Assistant to support our programs and administrative functions. This role will focus on grant writing and grant management while also assisting with event coordination, community outreach, and general operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about our mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Grant Writing & Management: Research grant opportunities, draft proposals, track reporting deadlines, and assist with compliance and reporting requirements.
• Program Support: Assist with planning and executing prevention programs, workshops, and community events.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain records, manage correspondence, and support daily operations.
• Community Outreach: Engage with local stakeholders, attend meetings, and represent the organization as needed.
• Data Collection & Reporting : Gather and analyze data for program impact and grant reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in grant writing and grant management (required).
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and basic data entry.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in nonprofit work or substance use prevention is a plus.
• Must be able to attend in-person meetings and events as required.

Compensation & Hours

• Part-time: 15-20 hours
• Hourly Rate: up to $25 per hour
• Hybrid Schedule: Some remote work allowed, with required in-person presence.
• Some nights and weekends required
