This is an inside sales position selling flooring to retail customers with tremendous growth potential. The ideal candidate is someone who is:

Aria's Carpet One Floor & Home, located in Nazareth, PA, is locally owned and operated and part of the world's largest floor covering cooperative. This means we offer the best flooring products with the most qualified installers.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities of a Retail Sales Professional:

• Welcome and engage with customers on the sales floor, and help them determine their needs and wants
• Provide top-notch customer service and support
• Sell flooring and floor care products, ensuring customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Stay up-to-date on our extensive flooring selection, including benefits and warranties
• Process sales orders efficiently
• Collaborate with other employees to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Network and prospect for new business opportunities
• Execute targeted sales strategies to drive growth and sales
• Process payments and manage customer transactions
• Utilize our computer database to research merchandise availability and process orders
• Follow up with customers in a timely and professional manner
• Offer expert advice on flooring, features, and benefits
• Assist customers with decorating and design decisions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment
• Contribute to the success of our team through your hard work and dedication

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be:

• Able to provide outstanding customer service and follow up.
• Able to effectively communicate, and possess math skills.
• A self-starter.
• Reliable
• Willing to undergo our extensive product and sales training in order to become certified flooring and design expert.
• Personally well-organized.
• Willing to create new business.
• Must have access to reliable transportation in order to get to work
• Clean driving record
• Open and flexible work availability, including Saturdays
• A passion for, or experience with, decorating or design
• Retail sales experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs and a willingness to learn our operating systems

Benefits

This is a part-time position. 20-30 hours per week

• 3-4 days a week, plus alternating Saturdays. (Closed on Sundays.)
• Salary: Commensurate with experience
• Future potential for full time employment
