Primary Purpose

Functions as the primary customer and supplier interface for the Supply Services East Department. Manages distribution and delivery from suppliers to local end users at a high service level. Receives, picks, issues, and stages material as requested. NOTE: Employees may be assigned to any storeroom located within the service territory.

Primary Duties

• Operate equipment to support material load/unload activities, proper arrangement of laydown and staging areas and for direct field crew assistance.

• Manage material availability through direct integration with Work Management representatives in accordance with published work schedules.

• Complete purchasing/procurement of short lead time materials.

• Procure coded and non-coded material up to $10,000 resulting from reorder review or customer's direct request.

Job Scope

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver's License

• Minimum of one (1) year Material Management/Procurement experience

• Knowledge of PC applications

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with all levels of management

• Working knowledge of inventory, purchasing, and Work Management Process

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of college preferred

• Forklift experience preferred

• HAZMAT/MSDS experience preferred
