Lawn & Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

The company is seeking a dedicated Lawn and Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join its team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew in performing lawn and landscape maintenance services for residential and commercial clients
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, push mowers, weed trimmers, and leaf blowers
- Oversee and participate in spring and fall clean-up projects
- Perform hedge trimming and ensure proper care of plant beds
- Identify and distinguish between plants and weeds in landscaped areas
- Safely operate a truck and trailer to transport crew and equipment to job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards
- Promote a positive, can-do attitude and foster a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a landscaping crew leader, with references
- Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Experience with spring and fall clean-ups and hedge trimming
- Ability to identify plants and weeds in a landscape setting
- Ability to operate a truck and trailer efficiently
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card if not already held
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork
- Demonstrated positive attitude and willingness to grow professionally and personally
