Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Neuro, trauma, ortho and robotics experience REQUIRED
• Neurosurgery experience mandatory - must be able to function independently
• First time travelers not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 18-room operating suite within 593-bed facility
• Daily census of 50-60 patients
• Weekend coverage required with 6-8 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
• Call requirements: 1-2 calls per week (Monday-Thursday), call starts after shift until 7:00 AM next morning
• Weekend call shifts: 2 every 6 weeks, call starts at end of Friday shift until 7:00 AM Monday
• Holiday call coverage as needed per department requirements
• 30-minute callback response time required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• No floating required
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Must complete pre-start modules (5-6 hours, billable)
• Manager interview required
• Clinical pre-screening required to determine fit

The facility operates 18 operating rooms within a 593-bed hospital and maintains high clinical standards with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
