Overview: Industrial Electrician:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. The Industrial Electrician will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that all electrical work is completed safely and efficiently.
Duties: Industrial Electrician:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Renovate existing electrical systems as needed to improve efficiency or comply with updated standards.
- Work with low voltage systems and logic controllers to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including commercial electricians and handymen, to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Install/ troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and motors 3 phase up to 440 volt.
Skills: Industrial Electrician:
- Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical systems.
- Experience using voltmeters and other hand tools necessary for installation and repair tasks.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and logic controllers is preferred.
- Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as a commercial electrician or maintenance person is a plus.
