Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve lives.Main responsibilities:Execution of small-scale egg inoculation and harvest and characterization testing including PCR and hemagglutinationProtein purification and characterization testing including SDS-PAGE, western blot, and chromatographySRID testing and analysisSupport execution of small-scale experiments in support of time to market activitiesPerform data analysis and publish protocols, reports, and proceduresOrder and maintain supplies and ship materials as neededAssist with sample management between reassortant lab, reagent lab, seed lab, Flu Pilot Plant, and Analytical SciencesSupport technical process improvementsDefine/manage deliverables and objectives for safe and compliant executionCoach/mentor junior personnel and maintain technical knowledge in workforce About YouBasic QualificationsMaster’s degree in Virology, Microbiology or any related field with academical experience or knowledge of cGMP environments OR bachelor’s degree in biology, Virology, Microbiology or any related field with 2+ years of experience in a cGMP environment.Technical skills:Influenza viral work experience, including egg handling, hemagglutination assay, and infectivity assayExperience with egg-based viral vaccine production processesExperience with laboratories techniques including hemagglutination assay, PCR, SDS-PAGE, and chromatographyKnowledge of flu reassortant developmentExperience with basic laboratory techniquesSequencing viral genes preferredSoft skills:Behaves according to company values and competencies.
