The Role

This is a working-supervisor role. You will run residential remodeling projects start to finish, lead a small field team, coordinate subs, manage the schedule and budget, and keep clients informed. You’ll report to the Director of Construction and work closely with Preconstruction to make sure jobs are build-ready before they start.

What you’ll do

• Own day-to-day execution on 1–2 active projects
• Lead field crew tasks, coach carpenters, set daily and weekly plans
• Self-perform key carpentry: layout, framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, hardware, finishes, punch
• Coordinate subs, inspections, and deliveries; keep sites safe and clean
• Track schedule, budget, change orders, and job costs in JobTread
• Communicate clearly with clients, designers, and trade partners
• Close out thoroughly with complete punchlists and organized documentation

What you bring

• 5+ years as a lead carpenter or project manager in residential remodeling
• Strong carpentry skills and an eye for finish quality
• Ability to read drawings, plan sequencing, and solve problems on site
• Comfortable with JobTread or similar software and Google Workspace
• Clear written and verbal communication, reliable follow-through
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice to have

• Experience with historic homes, kitchens, baths, additions, or decks/porches
• Vendor and inspector relationships in the Pittsburgh area
• OSHA 10/30, EPA RRP, or first aid/CPR
