Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and detail‑driven Housekeeping Lead to oversee custodial operations and ensure our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. In this leadership role, you will guide a team of custodial staff, coordinate daily workflows, and support a clean, welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Your commitment to quality and efficiency will play a key role in the overall success of our facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily custodial operations, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to established standards.
• Supervise, train, and support custodial staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage and maintain custodial equipment, ensuring proper use, functionality, and safety.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate supplies to meet operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to cleaning schedules, inspections, and supply usage.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of custodial team members.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify cleanliness issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond promptly and professionally to cleanliness concerns or service requests.
• Ensure custodial programs are executed effectively to meet client expectations and operational goals.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of custodial or facility maintenance experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and sanitation best practices.
• Proven leadership ability with experience supervising or coordinating staff.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and clients.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing needs, and manage multiple responsibilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakland, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.05 - $20.05/hr.
