Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Auto Detailer to join our collision repair team. The Auto Detailer is responsible for restoring vehicles to impeccable condition after collision repairs, ensuring both the interior and exterior are spotless for customer delivery. Your meticulous attention to cleanliness and quality plays a crucial role in the customers experience and the companys reputation.

What youll do:

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors following collision repairsincluding vacuuming, shampooing carpets/upholstery, scrubbing surfaces, cleaning glass, and removing debris.
• Wash, clay bar, buff, polish, and wax exteriors to restore shine and remove surface imperfections.
• Remove dirt, grease, tar, paint overspray, and other contaminants from vehicle surfaces using chemicals and specialized tools.
• Apply dressings for tires, plastics, leather, and vinyl; perform light cosmetic touch-ups as needed.
• Inspect vehicles post-repair to ensure all work meets company cleanliness and quality standards.
• Report any unexpected damage or issues to the shop foreman or estimator.
• Maintain detail work area, inventory chemicals/supplies, and ensure all tools are stored and cleaned properly.
• Safely move and park vehicles within the facility.
• Support workflow by assisting with parts movement, shop cleanup, or delivery duties as assigned.

What youll bring:

• Auto detailing experience strongly preferred; training available for highly motivated individuals.
• Familiarity with detailing tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented collision repair environment.
• Keen attention to detail and pride in creating a like new finish after repairs.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move vehicles throughout the workday.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable work ethic and willingness to follow company protocols and safety procedures.
