The Opportunity
The Sr. Investigations Recovery Analyst is responsible for investigating and recovering funds lost due to fraudulent activities. This role involves analyzing fraud cases, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and implementing strategies to maximize recovery efforts. The analyst will also ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.

The Work Itself
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of fraud cases to identify recovery opportunities.
- Collaborate with fraud investigators, legal teams, and external agencies to support recovery efforts.
- Analyze data to detect patterns and trends in fraudulent activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance recovery processes and outcomes.
- Advise on the establishment of internal controls, policies, and procedures to prevent future fraud.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations related to fraud recovery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in fraud recovery.
- Provide advice on the detection and investigation of various types of fraud, including but not limited to, credit card fraud, identity theft, money laundering, and cyber fraud.
- Provide SAR guidance on cases requiring a SAR discovered during recovery efforts.
The Skills You Bring
- 3+ years of fraud and SARs experience in financial services required.
- Work related experience should consist of in-depth background in bank fraud investigations of all types of forgery claims and schemes (i.e., kite schemes, counterfeit checks, forgeries, wires, ach, etc.), banking operations, government regulations, basic knowledge of UCC codes and industry defenses to adverse claims.
- Proven knowledge of regulatory Suspicious Activity Report experience - must have skills related to identifying, analyzing, and reporting suspicious activities that may indicate fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes.
- Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.
- Ability to make appropriate judgments and decisions with limited guidance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Base Pay Range:
An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
