Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, loading and unloading areas, trailer parking zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials and following post instructions for restricted areas, vehicle traffic, and after-hours access.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, following established post orders, and reporting maintenance, lighting, fencing, and/or other property concerns that could affect security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
