Wages:

Starting at $16.00 and up based on skills, experience and accomplishments

About us:

In the spring of 2019, Our family owned garden and greenhouse opened its doors just north of Pittsburgh. We carry a diverse selection of shrubs, trees, perennials, and annuals, alongside our charming garden and gift shop. From tropical and house plants, to fresh-cut flowers and beautiful arrangements, a huge selection of botanical delights and gift ideas. Additionally, we provide bulk materials, including topsoil, mushroom manure, compost, mulches, river rock and eastern seashore products. Our mission is to help create, improve and enhance our client’s outdoor spaces by professional designs, installation and maintaining their landscape with our professional team of expert technicians.

The Garden and Greenhouse Store Associate is both a labor and customer service position.

Responsibilities include:

• Lifting and moving plants (up to 50lbs)
• Watering and caring for plants
• Crafting seasonal displays and decor
• Tagging, organizing, and stocking plants and retail items
• Assisting customers with plant selections and gardening advice
• Helping plan and work at events (including weekends)
• Developing flyers and marketing materials
• Maintaining a clean, organized store enviroment

Ideal Candidate:

• Enjoys being outdoor and staying Active
• Friendly and helpful with customers
• Creative and detail-oriented
• Flexible availability, especially on weekends and event days
• Experience in gardening , retail, or event planning is a plus- but we're happy to train the right person!

Work Conditions and Hours:

• Ability to lift 35 lbs. or more.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel, up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat and precipitation).
• Works hours include weekends
• Full Time/ Part time position / Seasonal Worker
