Job Summary

Th e Command Specialist provides direct technical support for ongoing Extreme Drilling Sales & Rental operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers operating Extreme equipment in the field and plays a critical part in troubleshooting, escalating technical issues, and organizing field data for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have recent Measuring While Drilling (MWD) experience, specifically with Electromagnetic (EM) telemetry tools, and prior experience with Extreme systems such as XEM and xBolt is highly preferred.

Job Description

• Provide direct technical support to customers operating Extreme equipment in the field
• Troubleshoot MWD-related issues, particularly EM telemetry systems
  
• Escalate technical challenges to appropriate internal engineering and support teams
  
• Catalog equipment performance data and field issues within company business systems
  
• Consolidate and communicate field activity updates to the Extreme organization
  
• Support rental and sales activity through structured data reporting and documentation
  
• Serve as a key communication bridge between field operations and internal teams

Skills Required

• 3–5 years of direct field experience in a directional drilling/MWD service business (North America Land)
• Recent MWD experience within the last 3–5 years, specifically with Electromagnetic (EM) telemetry tools
  
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
  
• Comfortable communicating directly with customers in technical troubleshooting scenarios
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  
• Hands-on experience with XEM, xBolt, or other Extreme MWD systems
  
• Familiarity with rotary steerable systems
  
• Experience structuring and analyzing operational data for reporting purpose

Education

• Minimum 2-year technical degree

Pay Rate

• $50 - $55 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)

Additional Requirements

• Sched ule: 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely
