Job Summary
Canteen is now hiring a Communications and Events Coordinator to join our dyanmic team! We need a highly organized, detail-oriented team member who enjoys being hands-on and bringing events to life. This role supports the planning and execution of meetings, events, and internal communications initiatives. You're a pivotal support team member and must be comfortable diving into a multitude of tasks and "to do" lists.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives behind the scenes, enjoys hospitality-style service, and takes pride in making sure every detail is executed flawlessly. Please note - this is a full time, on site role.
What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support the planning and execution of meetings and events under the direction of the Communications lead
- Assist with events logistics, timelines, materials, and vendor coordination
- Assist with maintaining event documents, checklists, and schedules
- Communicate with vendors to confirm details, track deadlines, and manage follow-ups
- Ensure all assigned event-related materials are accurate, complete, and delivered on time
- Provide on-site support for meetings and events as needed
- Assist with creative projects in collaboration with the Communications & Marketing team
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and confirm details

- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- A dependable team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Basic creative skills, including familiarity with simple design tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following established processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience assisting with meetings, conferences or events
- Bilingual ( English / Spanish) communication skills
