Essential Job Duties:
- Plan and implement a job development strategy with multiple individuals.
- Assess individuals' professional strengths and weaknesses through various written and verbal tools.
- Discover what motivates individuals and assist them in utilizing that motivation in the workplace.
- Present skills to aid individuals in job searches.
- Assist individuals in completing a professional resume.
- Assist individuals in learning and excelling in their job functions.
- Create and update records and reports on progress.
- Facilitate the best workplace environment for our clients by ensuring a transparent and accommodating employer/ employee relationship.
- Act as a public representative of Reaching Beyond Limits Employment Services. Always project the best image of our services and client interaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective and succinct written documentation.
- Strong time-management.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to stay organized when dealing with multiple employees simultaneously.
- Prior experience working with people with disabilities.
- Upbeat, motivational attitude.
- Experience with Google Suite is a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- A bachelor's degree in human services is strongly suggested.
- 2 years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, automobile insurance that meets $100,000/$300,000 liability minimum, and willingness to transport clients.
- ACRE Certificate required (if not completed at the time of hire, the candidate must take it within the first nine months of employment).
