Paraprofessional - Special Education Support

***School Setting + Special education Experience is required***

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift
• Pay: $23/hr (weekly pay + benefits, W2 employer)
• Location: Atglen, PA
• Start Date: ASAP

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work 1-on-1 with a student with special needs
• Assist, support, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other team members to improve student achievement
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance
• Follow the prescribed daily schedule, adjusting to changes as needed
• Reinforce learning for individual students or small groups
• Provide extra assistance to students with exceptionalities, including non-English-speaking students and those with physical or mental disabilities
• Help prepare materials and equipment for instructional activities
• Perform non-instructional duties such as snack time, toileting, class changes, and clothing routines
• Assist substitute teachers when needed
• Foster positive relationships with the principal, teacher, students, parents, staff, and public
• Participate in professional learning and staff development opportunities
• Demonstrate a positive attitude toward work assignments

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• School Setting + Special education Experience
• Ability to assist with toileting and physical care
