Mechanic - Class 1 or 7 Inspection

Marburger Farm Dairy, Inc., a family-owned and operated business serving the community since 1938, is seeking a skilled and dependable Class 1 or 7 Inspection Mechanic to join its team. As a key member of the maintenance team, the Inspection Mechanic will ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of the company’s fleet vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform Pennsylvania Class 1 or 7 state inspections on company fleet vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety
• Carry out brake repairs, suspension work, tire service, and general mechanical repairs
• Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records
• Identify and report safety concerns and repair needs promptly
• Ensure all work complies with DOT, state, and company safety standards
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Assist with emergency repairs and breakdowns as needed
• Work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Class 1 or 7 Inspection License required
• Prior mechanic or fleet maintenance experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• CDL license is a plus, but not required
• Must provide own tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
