Job Summary:
As a Lift Operations Lead, you will help deliver an exceptional mountain experience for our guests and team members. You will oversee the daily operations of assigned lifts, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a positive work environment. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who thrives in alpine conditions, communicates clearly, and leads by example.

Job Specifications:
  • Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $23.48/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: No


Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily lift operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Act as a point of contact for lift operators, guests, and other departments.
  • Monitor and document team performance, providing coaching and discipline as needed.
  • Adjust staffing levels and break schedules to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Report safety incidents and equipment issues to the Lift Operations Manager immediately.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and payroll tasks for lift operators.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Ski Patrol, Scanning, Grooming) to maintain smooth mountain flow.
  • Support maze setup and crowd management strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills (English required).
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic outdoor environment.
  • Intermediate or higher skiing or riding ability preferred.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong decision-making and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company systems.

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $23.48/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
