Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical (Combustion Systems)
Location: Monaca, PA
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 ($1,500 at start + $1,500 after 6 months)

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to problem solver for diagnosing, testing, maintaining, and repairing advanced electrical, electronic, and combustion systems that keep our operations moving. You’ll work hands-on with:

• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and components

• AC/DC motor drives and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

• Combustion systems and process control equipment

• Indicating, recording, and telemetering instruments

• Computer systems, peripherals, and communications equipment

From troubleshooting faults with oscilloscopes and voltmeters to calibrating precision instruments and upgrading PLC programs, you’ll keep equipment operating at peak performance.

Essential Functions

• Diagnose, test, and repair electrical/electronic systems, including AC/DC drives, PLCs, communications, and combustion systems

• Troubleshoot using oscilloscopes, ammeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools

• Replace defective components, wiring, and adjust mechanical parts as needed

• Calibrate instruments and maintain repair records

• Use computers for diagnostics, PLC upgrades, and schematic modifications

• Install and maintain process control equipment measuring variables like pressure, flow, and temperature

• Lead or assist maintenance crews and train others when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school preferred

• Proven industrial maintenance experience with emphasis on electrical and combustion systems

• Proficiency in troubleshooting AC/DC drives, PLCs, and control systems

• Skilled in using diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and signal generators

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals

• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to work in an industrial environment and respond to equipment emergencies
