Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Roadway Project Manager with 20+ years of proven success in transportation and highway engineering , with extensive background leading PennDOT and PA Turnpike projects. This senior-level role is ideal for a Licensed Professional Engineer who excels in project management, client relations, and delivering large, complex roadway programs from concept through construction.

The selected candidate will not only oversee technical design and project delivery but also serve as a trusted advisor to clients, mentor engineering staff, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale roadway projects for PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and municipal transportation clients .

• Oversee roadway design, modeling, plan development, specifications, and cost estimates.

• Ensure compliance with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and AASHTO design standards .

• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client communications.

• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering professional growth within the team.

• Actively participate in client management, business development, and proposal preparation to secure new roadway and transportation projects.

• Provide technical leadership on roadway geometry, traffic control, drainage, and pavement design.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania (required).

• 20+ years of roadway engineering and project management experience , with significant PennDOT and PA Turnpike project history.

• Strong proficiency in roadway design and modeling software ( MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D ).

• Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar roadway projects through all phases of design and construction.

• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.

• Experience with staff development, mentoring, and building strong engineering teams.
