Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Expected to assist in General OR when there are no CVOR cases
• Call requirements: every 3rd day and at least 1 to 2 weekends per month
• Call hours: 1500-0700 weekdays, 48 hours on weekends
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Float to General OR when required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience heavily preferred
• Must have clean nursing license with no hits accepted
• Skills include: CVOR procedures, Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, TAVR, cell saver, blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol, and wound management
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
• Maximum 7 days RTO preferred
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Manager interview required
• Clinical pre-screening process required
