Nuclear Analysis Technician
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nuclear Analysis Technician to join our team in Cranberry Township, PA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our nuclear operations. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis and testing of nuclear materials and systems.
- Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Collect and document data accurately for regulatory compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to interpret results and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in safety audits and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new analytical procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Technology, Chemistry, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in nuclear analysis or a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of nuclear safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
