Host
The Host at Nabrasa Brazilian Steakhouse is the first and last point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in delivering a warm, polished, and memorable dining experience. This position requires a friendly, professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage guest flow in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s reservation system
Accurately estimate wait times and communicate them clearly to guests
Coordinate seating to ensure smooth service flow and server balance
Escort guests to tables and present menus with professionalism
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance
Answer phone calls and assist with general guest inquiries
Communicate effectively with servers, management, and support staff
Assist with takeout orders, special events, or large parties as needed
Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return
Previous host or restaurant experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is REQUIRED
Knowledge of Resy and OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
